I'm sure several of you have seen the latest trailer for the upcoming Earthworm Jim HD to be released on Xbox Live Arcade (and possibly other download services like Wiiware and Playstation Network).

What shocked me so much about the upcoming remake is that, aside from new levels and some more touches made to several levels, the game is going to utilize, FREAK'N 4 Player CO-OP!!! oAo

That's right! You and 3 other cyber suit wearing mud-munchers with ray guns get to kick some Pulsating, Bloated, Festering, Sweaty, Pus-filled, Malformed SLUG BUTT at one screen at the same time!! :D

At first I though HD was going to be much like the remake that was released on the iPhone/iTouch. But I saw that they went even further, and I am much anticipating this next remake!

Anyhow, hope you like my new piece. It feels good to make something colorful and intriguing again. ^_^

FUN FACT: Has anyone noticed that the co-op for EWJ HD has several similarities to that of the NSMBWii co-op?

1 - The Jims are colored much similar to that of Mario, Luigi, and the Toads

2 - The screen expands further as players scatter through different parts of the level.

But why on Xbox 360 Live Arcade? They didnt even released Earthworm Jim in Arcade version.

I tough Xbox 360 Live Arcade are remaking only Arcade games. I don't renember when they released Earthworm Jim as Arcade game.

PS: LOL! Keyboard Cat? In Earthworm Jim game? :XD:

srsly?

just cuz it's called "Xbox Live Arcade" does not mean that it only releases games made only on arcade.

I mean look at games like Sonic Adventure, Scott Pilgrim VS. the World, Shank, Duke Nukem 3D, and a lot of others.

A majority of games on XBLA are not literally arcade games. :P

EWJ Co-Op is soo fun on the XBLA, although no one ever plays it :P.

Also, picture is pretty shnazzy. I'm assuming that is Psycrow at the bottom.
