I have a feeling a minor Castlevania fantard will listen to this and say "Hey wait, this isn't from Castlevania!!" >8(

Actually my friend, you are only half correct. This is not from the original Castlevania, HOWEVER, it is a Castlevania series tune, and may I say it's one of the most under-appreciated tunes in the franchise as a whole. =(

The song entitled "Cross your Heart", originated from a 1988 Arcade retelling of the first Castlevania game called "Haunted Castle". Hardcore Castlevania fans will probably remember Haunted Castle, especially for how "brutishly difficult" the game was in general.

Anyhow, I won't say much more about it, so just enjoy the remix for what it's worth. :)

Sounds like on Gameboy. :D
This theme reminded me all things in the stage, pieces of the of the wall fly at you, fire on the ground, the mosters coming out of the tree behind, zombies coming out of the ground. Good memories. But i didn't understand why they changed the title, just because it's the only Castlevania game on Arcade?

unfortunately I'm not including downloads because the only other method I know of allowing it for download would be to put the song into ZIP format, and that method backfired on me more than once since many of my watchers don't have Winrar or any other software that unzips ZIP folders. =/

I'm aware that there are other methods, but I'm not taking my chances with them. So, you'll have to enjoy them on the internet only.

I've heard of Haunted Castle. I actually don't like it as much as the Castlevania games. However, that doesn't mean I don't like the music. :D
